This chapter investigates the modification of liturgical space in Italian Observant Dominican houses in the fifteenth century and after, which in various cases meant new choir arrangements and rood screen removals. The chapter analyzes the various determining factors behind the transformation (or not) of church interiors, including how this was related to the religious and pastoral commitments within Observant congregations.
